But ONLY when it comes to decorating the house for Christmas.... I still have NO lights outside my house...it's ALMOST Christmas!!!!!

BUT I guess it's something I didn't really notice or consider when i chose Jeff for my life mate...but he just really isn't "Christmas-y".... Don't get me wrong...he likes the holidays and the stuff that goes along with it..but isn't really big on getting into the holiday spirit...He lugs up the big fake tree from the basement every year like the dutiful husband he is...but I decorate it...listening to chrismas music and drinking egg nog all by myself...TRAGIC I know!!!...

but maybe Christmas isn't that big of a deal to everyone?????...growing up...my mom started decorating Nov 1st and the tree and wreaths stayed up until almost the spring...I have good memories of baking cookies and waiting for Santa until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore...thats the best part of Christmas for me at least..the lead up and the whole "getting into the spirit"...but maybe some people like my husband think it's overrated???...ahh well...I hope my daughter takes after me..then when she gets a bit older we can FORCE christmas onto Jeff!!!...but for now i just want some FRICKING christmas lights up...in fact I am pushing for my house to look like this next year!!!
