I am very proud of my husband today…Last night was his first blood donation ever…He had been putting it off for many years for all the usual reasons that people give “I’m too busy…”…”I’m scared of needles”…”I’ll go next time there is a clinic”…But this time he followed through…Am I couldn’t love him more for it…
I have been a donor for a number of years and let me tell you…it’s the easiest way to turn your self into a hero and save a life…..By just our two donations…we helped 6 people get lifesaving blood products!!! It honestly took less than an hour to give and you walk out of that building standing a little taller….
I wish there was some way I could convince more people to consistently make appointments and give…why wouldn’t you save a life???
