T&T think parking should be allowed overnight

There was an article in the paper this morning that brought up an old debate at city hall...Whether or not to scrap the no overnight parking bylaw during the summer months&The way it stands now is you cant park on ANY city street between the hours of 3 and 5 am, 12 months a year.



The city has always said that this was to allow for plows to have clear access and for overnight street cleaning. This time if the amendment goes through it would allow people to park overnight only in the summer months.



Do you think this was just a cash grab for the city&also do you think allowing people to park overnight especially in the summer will cut down on instances of drinking and driving? Or should we keep the law the way it is so more revenue is brought into the city?
