Hey, a gig is a gig.
Electric Cars will be great for the environment and likely great in the long term for our finances, but they are notoriously quiet which makes them dangerous for pedestrians.
Enter nu-metal chart topping rockers Linkin Park.
In an interview with Wheels Magazine, Mercedes-AMG CEO Tobias Moers said that they are working with partner sin performance to decide was is the sound of an electric car. One of the partners, Linkin Park!
“You know Linkin Park?” he asked. “I started to talk with these guys about what is their interpretation of electrified sound.
“We’ve had a cooperation with Linkin Park for years. We’re really close.
“We started off years ago. We established a team doing artificial sound and we worked together with games specialists, we worked together with film artists doing sound for films.
“We sell emotions and sound is really a crucial part of emotion so what we do is work on artificial sounds because you have to.”
Huh, what would a Linkin Park electric car sound like to you?
